The ICENI Centre's reputation for delivering first-class education and training to healthcare professionals has been upheld following a re-accreditation from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust (ESNEFT)

The Centre is one of only four venues across the UK to receive this accolade. It first received the award in 2013 and following its latest inspection by the professional body has been granted a reaccreditation until 2020.

The Centre has recently come under the umbrella of East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) and its mission to provide training, aimed at advancing standards of surgical care for patients, is central to the ethos of the newly formed ESNEFT.

Under the new leadership of Clinical Consultants Matthew Tutton, Adam Howard, Greg Wynn, Barry Whitlow and Manager, Peter Cook, the ICENI Centre will continue to build on its international reputation for laparoscopic training as well as develop the curriculum to encompass all healthcare professional training, research and innovation.
