The ICENI Centre is part of the East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest Trusts in the East of England. Colchester is the oldest recorded town in Britain; today it is a thriving, modern town with an excellent selection of shops, hotels and restaurants.

London Stansted airport is the closest and is approximately 45-60 minutes by road.

By rail
Travel to Colchester North Station by direct link from London Liverpool Street station (the Centre is a 10 minute walk from the station).

Parking

Please note there is limited parking available on the Colchester Hospital site.  Please park in the main visitor car park, which has number plate recognition. At the end of your visit, please enter your number plate into the machine available and pay the amount owing.

Park & Ride

Colchester Park and Ride is located to the north of the A12 and stops along the Northern Approach Road (Hospital path bus stop), which is close to Colchester General Hospital.  If you work for ESNEFT you can use the Park and Ride for free.

If you don’t work at ESNEFT he park and ride service will cost £3 for unlimited journeys on the day of ticket purchase, enabling easy access to and from the A12 park and ride base to the hospital and into the town centre.
